Emerging technologies rarely move from prototype to adoption on technical merit alone. Organizations need to understand where a technology fits, who must be involved, what barriers will slow it down, and what evidence would justify a pilot or investment.
I work across research, industry, and university ecosystems to help answer those questions: connecting what is technically possible with what buyers, organizations, and institutions actually need, and turning that understanding into decisions, programs, and partnerships.
Across these engagements, I have built market landscapes, stakeholder interview programs, opportunity maps, decision frameworks, industry briefs, and cross-sector events. I am most useful when the technology is promising but the path forward is still unclear: when teams need to understand the ecosystem, identify adoption barriers, align stakeholders, and decide where to experiment next.
At Northeastern University, I led the construction stream of a $188K interdisciplinary robotics initiative connecting researchers, startups, MassRobotics, contractors, and investors. Through 30+ stakeholder interviews and a mapped landscape of 300+ companies, I identified where automation could realistically enter construction workflows. The work culminated in a 100-attendee Robotics x Construction Demo Day that I designed and moderated, connecting buyers and technology developers around promising use cases.Â
I advised Northeastern University's technology transfer office on strengthening its early-stage commercialization pipeline. Along the way, we hand-built a dataset linking researchers' disciplinary backgrounds to their invention disclosures, exploring whether interdisciplinary teams commercialize differently. The work surfaced gaps in the disclosure process and showed the team where they stood among peers.

My drone research did not stay on paper. I presented findings on regulation and market entry to policymakers and industry participants through industry associations and a commercial drone working group. During my PhD, I also advised a mining company exploring drone applications, helping the team think through positioning, regulatory constraints, and realistic entry points. In both settings, I used product histories, regulatory filings, and direct industry engagement to turn market evidence into practical strategy.
